Seeds of Destruction Armor

The Seeds of Destruction expansion introduced Forcemeld (group) and Forcestrike (raid) armor for magicians. There are also some standalone dropped pieces of armor such as Archaic Cloth armor. (Other classes have different names for their armor.)

The higher tier pieces are built by modifying lower tier pieces. This means one cannot just skip by the lower level zones and just try to get the higher tier armor.

For another description of the Seeds of Destruction armor see Allakhazam.com's Seeds of Destruction Armor Guide.

Essences

All Tier 3 and higher armor requires an essence which determines which type(s) of armor you can create. Essences have 3 word names: the first specifies the armor slot, the second specifies the tier or theme, and the third specifies the type of armor.

First word: armor slot

  • Distorted = Arms/Legs
  • Fractured = Wrist/Hands
  • Phased = Chest
  • Warped = Head/Feet

Second word: Theme

  • Coeval = Discord Tower (raid)
  • Eternal = Kuua/Discord (group) Tier 5
  • Medial = Earth (group) Tier 4
  • Primeval = Earth/Korafax (raid)
  • Seminal = Field of Scale (group) Tier 3

Third word: Type of Armor

  • Luminessence
  • Incandessence
  • (Note: the mispelling here is intentional to match spelling in game.)

For example, Phased Seminal Incandessence is used to make the Tier 3 Chest armor (for magicians this would be Discordant Forcemeld Silk Robe).

For another description of essences and how they work see Allakhazam.com's Seeds of Destruction Essences.

Tier 1 (Oceangreen Theme)

What is generally refered to as Tier 1 armor are sets of standalone armor that drop in the Oceangreen Theme zones (Oceangreen Hills, Oceangreen Village, Old Blackburrow, and the Temple of Bertoxxulous). Magicians can wear Archaic Cloth Armor and there are sets of Leather, Chain and Plate for other classes. In my opinion Archaic Cloth Armor is no better than Elegant Defiant Silk Armor but some magicians may disagree. Archaic Armor is also sold by Zebuxoruk in Void B or higher for Chronobines, but that version is NO DROP.

The following table lists the Archaic Cloth Armor and who or what drops it:

Archaic Cloth Armor
Archaic Cloth Cap The Crimson Bat (Oceangreen Village)
Archaic Cloth Gloves Slitherin (Oceangreen Hills)
Archaic Cloth Pants Garght the Angry (Old Blackburrow)
Archaic Cloth Robe Brewmaster Drachty (Old Blackburrow)
Archaic Cloth Sandals Master Putremancer Fellid (Oceangreen Village)
Archaic Cloth Sleeves Zealot of Bertoxxulous (Temple of Bertoxxulous)
Archaic Cloth Wristband Wrathpaw (Oceangreen Hills)

Tier 2 (Kithicor Theme)

There are no Tier 2 armor sets.

Tier 3 (Field of Scale)

The Tier 3 armor sets for magicians are Concordant Forcemeld Silk and Discordant Forecemeld Silk armor (the difference between the two is minimal: mainly mod2 stats). A Seminal Luminessence is used to make Concordant and a Seminal Incandessence is used to make Discordant. Seminal Luminessences and Incandessences drop off various nameds in Field of Scale, Kaesora Library, and Kaesora Hatchery (both instances and non-instances).

Buy a Tinea for the appropriate armor slot and a Magician Polymorphic Cocoon from Zebuxorux in The Void. Combine the essence and tinea in the cocoon to create your armor. The following two tables show the Luminessence or Incandessence and the Tinea needed for each piece of armor.

Tier 4 (Earth)

The Tier 4 armor for magicians are Balanced Forcemeld, Chaotic Forcemeld, and Vested Forcemeld armor (the difference between them is minimal: mainly mod2 stats). These armor sets are made by upgrading your Tier 3 Concordant Forcemeld or Discordant Forcemeld armor with a Medial Incandessence or Medial Luminessence in a Temporal Molting Cell. The Temporal Molting Cell is bought with Chronbines from Zebuxorux in The Void E or higher. These sets can also be made using your Tier 4 Secrets of Faydwer Prismatic Armor (Kaleidosilk for magicians and other cloth wearers) using different containers purchased from Zebuxorux.

Balanced Forcemeld Armor

Balanced Forcemeld armor is made by upgrading your Tier 3 Concordant Forcemeld armor with a Medial Incandessence or Discordant Forcemeld armor with a Medial Luminessence combined in a Temporal Molting Cell. It can also be made using your Tier 4 Secrets of Faydwer Prismatic Armor (Kaleidosilk for magicians and other cloth wearers) with either Medial essence in a Prismatic Fluorescent Mutation Nexus. All containers are bought from Zebuxorux.

Balanced Forcemeld Armor pieces are created with one of the following combines:

  • Concordant armor piece with a Medial Incandessence in a Temporal Molting Cell
  • Discordant armor piece with a Medial Luminessence in a Temporal Molting Cell
  • Prismatic armor piece with a Medial Incandessence in a Prismatic Fluorescent Mutation Nexus
  • Prismatic armor piece with a Medial Luminessence in a Prismatic Fluorescent Mutation Nexus

The resulting Balanced Forcemeld armor pieces are the same regardless of the armor used to make it. The following table shows the required armor and essence to be combined in the appropriate container:
